Water Oak Pin is a small portrait studio working in the tradition of classic magazine portraiture. We shoot on both film and digital, in a light-filled space and on considered locations.

Every commission begins with a conversation. We talk about the purpose of the pictures, the person we're photographing, and how we might use light, styling and stillness to say something true.

We believe portraits should end on paper — printed, held, archived. Files alone don't outlast us. Prints do.
